Transfer Station
The Rangeley Transfer Station located at Loon Lake Road serves Dallas Plantation. Transfer stickers are available at the station for residents. Bulk waste conditions and fees apply payable by check or voucher are available at the Rangeley Town Office, 15 School Street. 864-5610. The Transfer Station accepts household trash, recyclables, bulk waste, burnable wood, and compost.

Summer/Winter: Monday – Saturday 8:15 am – 4:15 pm
Additional Hours Summer Only Sunday: 9 am – 1 pm
Burnables accepted only on Tues, Wed, Fri, & Sat. before 12:30 pm

Vehicle Registrations

Water test kits are available free of charge.
Social Welfare
Social welfare concerns may be brought to the attention of the Assessors directly or to the town clerk. A free confidential referral service is available to connect you with available resources by dialing 211 statewide. This is a collaborative effort with the State of Maine Health and Human Services, the United Way, and The Opportunity Alliance.
